Mr. Butler is a Managing Director at Hunter Point Capital in its GP Financing Solutions platform.

Prior to joining HPC, Mr. Butler served as a Managing Director at Ares Management, where he was responsible for sourcing, negotiating and executing portfolio and GP liquidity investments within Ares Secondaries Group (formerly Landmark Partners). Prior to Ares and Landmark Partners, Mr. Butler was a senior member of the private equity funds investment team at a $40B AUM global family office and started his career in private credit, lending to middle market businesses.

Mr. Butler earned his B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, from the University of Florida, his M.S. in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida, and his M.B.A. from a dual-degree program at New York University and London Business School.
