Hunter Point Capital and Bow River Capital Announce Strategic GP Financing Partnership
October 28, 2026
Hunter Point Capital ("HPC"), a leading independent investment firm providing capital and strategic support to alternative asset managers, today announced a preferred financing with Bow River Capital ("Bow River"), a Denver-based private alternative asset manager offering differentiated closed-end and evergreen strategies.
Founded by Chairman Blair Richardson and led by Chief Executive Officer Greg Hiatrides, Bow River invests across the lower and middle markets, with a focus on private credit, private equity, real estate, and venture capital. The financing will provide flexible capital to support the firm’s continued growth across its investment strategies and broader strategic priorities.
“We are excited to work alongside the Bow River team to support the firm’s long-term ambitions,” said Avi Kalichstein, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of HPC. “Demand for flexible financing solutions continues to grow as category-leading investment managers seek flexibility in advancing their portfolio- and firm-level initiatives. We are pleased to have delivered a tailored solution that meets Bow River’s needs.”
“Forging a partnership with Hunter Point Capital is an important step for Bow River and sets the foundation for our continued success,” said Hiatrides, who was appointed Chief Executive Officer in October. “As we embark on our next chapter, it was pivotal that we selected the right partner, enabling our firm to execute on our strategic initiatives while remaining focused on delivering investment excellence for our limited partners.”
The transaction was completed through HPC’s GP Financing Solutions (“GPFS”) platform, which provides preferred financing solutions and NAV-based loans designed to help high-performing investment managers achieve their long-term strategic objectives. With the completion of this transaction, the GPFS platform has invested approximately $2.9 billion across 17 transactions since its launch in 2023. The platform recently raised $4.3 billion across its two strategies.
Latham & Watkins served as legal counsel to HPC. Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck served as legal counsel to Bow River, and Falkon Partners served as financial advisor to Bow River.
